In very cohesive, clay soils, Edelman Clay Augers have the advantage of narrow blades that meet with little resistance. The typical design of Edelman Clay Augers allows for minimum friction while the auger is being twisted into the soil and removed from the soil. The bits of Edelman Clay Augers are made of durable, hand-forged steel, that help to prevent the contamination of the soil samples.
